Kevin Vo grew up in Houston’s Alief neighborhood, son of Vietnamese refugee parents who resettled there in the early 1980s and ran a small repair shop. He spent the next ten years on dispatch radios and behind the wheel for a regional furniture delivery company, learning exactly how a truck schedule falls apart or holds together. What stayed with him from childhood was simpler than logistics, though: his own family’s moves always went smoother with familiar neighborhood faces carrying the boxes, not strangers off a list. In 2016 he rented a lot in Humble, bought his own truck, and put that idea to work as Amity Movers.

Who Answers When You Call
Owner / Founder since 2016. Ten years later he’s still the one most estimate calls get routed to first, and he’ll ride shotgun on a Dallas or Denver haul when the schedule allows it.
Office Manager since 2018. If a Humble-to-Deer-Park job needs its schedule juggled last-minute, she’s the one juggling it.
Lead Estimator since 2020. Walks nearly every Kingwood and Atascocita home herself before quoting, and her inventory sheets don’t miss a cubic foot.
Billing & Insurance Coordinator since 2021. Every gated community and commercial building on the calendar gets its COI paperwork from him, filed ahead of move day, not scrambled together the morning of.
Crew Chief since 2017. Lost count of how many times he’s driven the Dallas and Denver lanes, which is exactly why he still runs most of them.
Crew Chief since 2019. Tomball and Jersey Village jobs are mostly his to run, and he knows both areas well enough to plan around their quirks before the truck even arrives.
