These terms govern your use of amitymovers.com and any moving service booked with Amity Movers. Requesting a quote, booking a move, or browsing this site means you agree to what follows.
Services Offered
Amity Movers provides local and long-distance moving across the Houston area and the routes listed on this site, along with full-service packing, short-term storage, labor-only load/unload help, and specialty handling such as piano moving. Your exact services are confirmed in your flat-rate quote.
How Pricing Works
Pricing is set through a flat-rate quote built from the inventory and details you provide, plus distance and any specialty services requested. Charges may adjust if the actual scope of the job differs materially from what was described at estimate time.
Booking and Deposits
Amity Movers does not require a deposit to hold a move date. A booking is confirmed once you accept a flat-rate quote and agree on a date with the office.
Payment Terms
Payment is due when your move is complete, unless other arrangements are agreed to in writing beforehand. Accepted payment methods are provided by the office at booking.
Changing or Canceling a Date
Plans change, and we plan around that. Contact the office as early as you can if a date needs to move, particularly for long-distance jobs where trucks and crews are scheduled in advance. Late changes close to a move date, including those caused by severe weather, may limit which new date is available.
Loss or Damage Claims
Amity Movers keeps interstate authority on file with the FMCSA and carries current commercial auto and cargo insurance on every truck. Report any lost or damaged item to the office as soon as possible so a claim can be opened; specific coverage terms are outlined in your moving paperwork.
Limits on Liability
Outside of what’s stated in your signed moving documents, Amity Movers is not responsible for indirect or consequential damages connected to a move, including delays caused by conditions outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather or road closures.

Governing Law
